As part of the linkages programs and the vision of the Advancement and Alumni association of the Plateau State Polytechnic Barkin Ladi, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Nassarawa State in Lafia. The delegation compromised the State Chairman of the Alumni, the Vice President, the Rector, some Management Staff of the Polytechnic, and the former Registrar of the Polytechnic ,Dr Anjide.

The leader of the delegation, the Rector, Dr. Clement Chirman in his speech thanked the Governor for identifying with Plateau State Polytechnic Barkin Ladi by attending the last Convocation in the institution, which is a demonstration of the love and concern the Governor has for the polytechnic.

The Rector also appreciated the Governor for the good works he was doing in Nassarawa state and the educational sector .

In his speech the Governor of Nassarawa State Engr. Abdullahi Sule appreciated the Alumni and the delegation for finding time to come and pay him a visit. He was so happy by the visit which made him recall his days at the Polytechnic.

The Governor also thanked his mate for always identifying with him and the new Management of the institution by proffering solutions instead of just pointing out problems.

He also commended the Management for the new development in the Polytechnic and prayed for peace and more collaboration with the Plateau State Polytechnic Barkin Ladi.
